Module 6: Elemental Evil

This module came with a lot of changes. Notable the increase in level cap to 70. It introduced 4 new adventure zones - Drowned Shore (61 - 63), Reclamation Rock (63 - 65), Fiery Pit (65 - 67), and Spinward Rise (67-69). The first three adventure zones are a rehash of Blackdagger Ruins, Helm's Hold, and Gauntlgrym - respectively; However Spinward Rise is a completly new zone for players to try. In addition, all previous Modules adventure zones are recommended for level 70 players - not level 60. Epic Companion only gear now drops in Tier 6 dungeon in Sword Coast Adventures on the Gateway. Professions max level has been increased to 25, Black Ice crafting increased to 5.

Adventure Zones:

All four of the adventure zones have 'dailies' per say. They are not called dailies and they are not like the previous modues dailies. The quests are called Vigilance Task and each adventure zone has 48 of the task to complete. With that said - not all of these need to be completed. Vigilance Tasks are repeatable hourly, but not every quest is offered every hour and only four Vigilance Tasks can be accepted at once. Ongoing quests can be reaccepted immediately after being turned in. The only zone where all vigilance tasks need to be completed is Spinward Rise because after completing the final quest there you get the artifact main hand for your class.

Drowned Shore:

There are 13 total Storyline quests for this map spanning three zones. Characters can access the Drowned Shore by speaking to Sgt. Knox in Protector’s Enclave and accepting the quest Coast Guarding. In each zone there are a few storyline quests, but the main mission for each zone is completing 16 vigilance quests.

Reclamation Rock:

There are 7 total Storyline quests for this map spanning three zones. Characters can access Reclamation Rock by speaking to Sgt. Knox in Protector’s Enclave and accepting the quest Reclaiming the Rock. In each zone there are a few storyline quests, but the main mission for each zone is completing 8 vigilance quests.

Fiery Pit:

There are 13 total Storyline quests for this map spanning three zones. Characters can access the Fiery Pit by speaking to Sgt. Knox in Protector’s Enclave and accepting the quest To the Fiery Pit. In each zone there are a few storyline quests, but the main mission for each zone is completing 8 vigilance quests.

Spinward Rise:

There are 7 total Storyline quests for this map spanning three zones. Characters can access Spinward Rise by speaking to Sgt. Knox in Protector’s Enclave and accepting the quest Rise of the Air Cult. In each zone there are a few storyline quests, but the main mission for each zone is completing 8 vigilance quests..

Gear:

At this time, pre-Module 6 gear has been removed from the game, epic gear that is. If you already had some gear in your inventory or bank you will still have it, but dungeons no longer drop the gear, nor can it be aquired from dungeon chests. Best advise -- if the gear is BoE and is part of set then sell it on the Auction House for some 6 figure AD.

Most of the new end game gear is BoP and is aquired though epic skirmishes or dungeons. Pieces can also be bought with Seals of the Element (T1) and Seals of the Protector (T2) from the marketplace in Protector's Enclave.

Dungeons

Currently, there are 6 dungeons - 3 T1s and 3 T2s. The rework on the dungeons have made the dungeons a lot harder and require a Tank and Cleric to beat the dungeons, even T1s. No longer can a group of 5 DPS classes go into a dungeon and hope to beat it.

Current T1s - Malabogs Castle (MC), Lair of Lostmauth (LoL), and Valindra's Tower (VT)

Current T2s - Cragmire Crypts (CC), Grey Wolf Den (GWD), and Temple of the Spider (ToS)

Temple of Tiamat is still the only raid and still occurs every hour, on the hour.
