Module 7: Stronghold

 

This module is very guild centric. With an all new adventure zone, Guild Stronghold, the only members in your instance will be your fellow guild members. With new armor, weapons, and boons players will have to work together to upgrade their stronghold in order to unlock these boons, weapons, and armor.

 

Members will donate campain currency, enchants, equipment, and various shards that will be required to upgrade your boon structures, guild hall, market, and resources. There is a order that guilds will have to follow in the beginning: Lumberyard -> Farm -> Market or Guild Hall lvl 2-> Market or Guild Hall lvl 2 -> Guild Hall lvl 3 -> quarry -> Metal production or Guild Hall lvl 4 -> Metal production or Guild Hall lvl 4.

 

NPCs of Stronghold:

 

Steward: pretty much useless after intro.

Master of Coin: gives Adventure Zone (WoD, Shar., IWD, DR) support missions that just require you to complete 3 dailies in the specified area. There is also a mission to win a PvP match.

Ranger: Kill enemies and complete 3 HEs in the Stronghold zone.

Cleric: Complete a specific T1 and or T2 dungeon

Builder: Kill a mini-boss in the stronghold area

 

Stronghold Currencies:

 

Conquerer's Shard of Power (PvP - Master of Coin Missions)

Dungeoneer's Shard of Power (Cleric Missions)

Heroic Shard of Power (Builder Missions and occasional HEs)

Adventurer's Shards of Power (Ranger Missions)

Influence (Participating in HEs) Max: 400/day by completing 5 HEs. Influnece is given at the increments of: 150, 120, 75, 35, 20.

Ekdos the Cruel - Acid Spitting - lower left corner - Difficulty: Hard

Chrysos the Vain - Lightning - upper right corner - Difficulty: Hard

Oxuno the Treacherous - Poison - lower right corner - Difficulty: Easy (ish)

Katatheo the Proud - Fire - upper left corner - Difficulty: Easy (ish)

 

These dragons are part of the Greed of the Dragonflight mission which happens every two at half past the hour. More than 19 people cannot attack one dragon at a time. If this happens then the dragon becomes immune to damage. Once one dragon is killed the remaining dragons will leave within a minute. So be sure to kill the all within a minute of each other for maximum rewards.

Boons of Stronghold:

 

Stronghold boons will not be able to be built until you have, at least, a guild hall of rank 5. Once you are at Guild Hall rank 5, a boon structure plot will be available to be built on and this structure will be able to be taken to rank 3.  

 

For PvE there are three types of boons: Offense, Defense, & Utility. One of each type can be equiped at a time and can be interchanged at any point given your guild has them  unlocked.
